Spiceing up a drab doorm room

As a college freshman I was a bit shocked when I first walked into my dorm room. Bland would be a kind term to discribe what the room looked like. It quickly became apparent I needed a few dorm room ideas for decorating and making things more comfortable. So I did what most college freshmen do. I ask my fellow students what to do! Combining the best ideas I managed to eventually end of with a livable room that expressed my tastes without infringing on my roommate tastes and ideas.
Start off with a nice rug to cover as much of the floor as desired. Add in a relaxing chair because you will be spending a lot of time reading textbooks. Trying to get comfortable on a dorm bed while studying is next to impossible. Adding an small entertainment center with a nice stereo and TV is a nice touch for those rare times a student has for unwinding. A small refrigerator is a must have so remember this one. Trust me on this one!
